Show Notes

Do you know what it means to be a clinical academic? How do universities teach students to recognise the importance of trusted clinical academic papers and how to engage students to consider clinical academia as a career pathway. In this episode, we are joined by Dr Nicolas Evans, lead for the Student Selected Component and the INSPIRE scheme at the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine, where he also is an Assistant Research Professor for Stroke Medicine and Ranya Kumar who is currently a 6th year medical student within our medical school and Co-President of the Cambridge University Student’s Clinical Research Society and will be starting the academic pathway when she graduates.
